AMD Graphics Chip More Powerful Than Every Game Console

AMD is proclaiming that its new graphics chip the RV770 is "more powerful than every generation of video game console ever brought to market combined." The RV770 is capable of processing one trillion floating operations per second on a single chip. According to AMD this mean it "punches a sizeable hole in the sensory barrier."

I have a feeling that if this chip as powerful as AMD clames its cost alot. and none of use are going to see them for a long time.
