Intel formally confirmed the Bearlake chipset that will be available in five versions : it will X38, P35, G35, G33 and G31. X38 is designed to work with processors Core 2 Extreme and 45 nm Penryn will be the PCI Express 2.0 and the technology automatically change the frequency. The chipset will have support system bus with a frequency of 1333 MHz and the memory DDR3. P35 created for the generation processor Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad, but was not aware of any other performance chipset. G35 in the statement reiterated P35, and has a built-graphic chip supporting DirectX 10, decoder HDCP and HDMI out, so that users with a CD will be able to view and HD-DVD ray. G33-a little off G35 version, but still with DirectX 10 hardware on board. G31-will be built in time may DirectX 9, and is for the budget PC market. P35 and G33 available in the second quarter of this year, and all other options Bearlake chipset will be available in the third quarter.
